A coffee cart that started with one event
Bidaya means beginning in Arabic, and the name was the point. Jannah Ahmed served her first event on December 16, 2024 — a pop-up hosted by Holy Rollie Pastry Shop, with a cart custom built by TX Custom OL and guidance from Runyon Coffee along the way.
A year later, the cart had poured at weddings, baby showers, senior banquets, teacher appreciation mornings, fitness studio open houses, weekend markets, and a charity 5K across Dallas-Fort Worth. Every Google review it has collected is a five.
The work has stayed deliberately hands-on. Jannah answers the messages, builds the menus, and is the barista behind the cart at your event — which is why clients keep describing her as responsive and easy to work with rather than describing a company. Drinks are made to order with syrups cooked in house, and the menu is designed for the occasion rather than pulled off a shelf.
Bidaya is based in Coppell and serves the wider metroplex, including Dallas, Irving, Denton, Flower Mound, and Grand Prairie. Bottled lattes joined the lineup in 2026.
